How does one stay calm and content in the midst of chaos?

Chaos, as we know it, is the state of the Universe. We understand it as disorganized and tumultuous, whereas there is nothing but perfection in the manner in which the Universe functions.

The human mind tries to create logic and reasoning around everything. It is like trying to fit a cube into a spherical container. Naturally, it is not going to fit and that is what gives us panic and anxiety. In quite the opposite manner, the Universe does not follow any logic or reasoning and therefore it is perfect. Take 2 waves in the ocean, both are subject to the same wind and sea currents, yet one wave is larger than the other. There is no logic in that.

So let’s not look for any meaning or purpose in life, because there is none in the first place. The world is our playground, and we are simply meant to enjoy and appreciate it. The world is but a bridge. We are supposed to cross over it, not build our house on it, for we are merely passing through.

What we call turbulence is nothing but the perfection of the Universe. Once we understand that, there will be no more panic and anxiety in our lives. And the way to understanding the Universe for what it is, is to Just Be!
